![Rihanna - ‘Talk That Talk’ - Def Jam/SRP/RocNation [November 21st]
OMFG the new Rihanna album is AWESOME! After the disappointing and over-sugary LOUD she’s back to slaying you bitches with Ester Dean on writing bringing along her hardcore R&B melodies and anthemic choruses throughout and sprinkles of electro, R&B, old school dancehall and a little dub step on production. RiRi finds the perfect balance between her underground Rated R and commercial LOUD eras here which should please all fans of her varied music catalogue. Although I still think Rated R is a masterpiece that will never be matched RiRi is definitely heading back in the right direction with this one!

A classic soul cut with a tinge of modern R&B, a deluxe edition track from Pixie’s forthcoming sophomore album written with the genius that is James Fauntleroy and produced by the legendary R&B team of Harvey Mason, Jr. and Damon Thomas: The Underdogs. Its tracks like this that prove Pixie can record/write amazing songs but she just doesn’t release/place the right ones on her albums! Hopefully the quality of this and ‘What Do You Take Me For?’ will continue on the next single choice and album cuts!
